The golf course was skillfully designed to take advantage of the natural surroundings and every effort was made to preserve and enhance the existing landscape at Canebrake Club. Nestled among gently rolling terrain, beautiful trees and natural water features, the golf course is visually striking and provides an enjoyable test for golfers of all skill levels.
Canebrake was designed by international golf course architect Ron Garl. For his design expertise, Ron has received numerous design accolades throughout his career including being awarded "Golf Designer of the Year" by International Network of Golf. Ron has extensive experience working with a great variety of diverse project sites. Known for his innovative routings and true to his philosophy that a course should "sit softly on the land," Ron has set a unique standard for environmentally friendly projects that maximize and enhance the land's natural characteristics.
